Hey, this is my fourth day of modeling and I am making a model for a game I'm making (Mongolian War) and I would like you to see it, http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/7333/PB_Crew_Rifleman_Pic3.jpg It's a team member of the PB-Crew (Paddle Bomber). How can I improve it? [edited by - WaterMelon34 on April 23, 2004 12:19:56 AM]
Ok, this is my first post at this forum

Now about the model, there is nothing needed to be added to it. The one problem I can see with the model is the poly count, most models for games have a low polycount to give the game lots of proformance. If you want the game to have steep requirements then shure, use a high poly count.

Here is an example of a model that uses a small poly count to make a decent looking item

this is a old model that I never quite finished

Infact I havent updated my porfolio in a long time I better do it soon

Anyway hope this helps.

looks like its got a pretty high poly count
from what ive been told you should be aiming between 1000/2000
top end of 2000 is ok for main character up to 1000 for bad guys
if you use more on main character then you have to take away from other places...

other sugguestion try pointing the toes and hands to give the impression of toes and fingers...just pull out the big toes and index fingers

looks nice clean model ...funky
