While I''m uncertain it can meet your needs, if you''re talking about ".NET" rather than "Random-Product .NET", have you taken a look at Mono? They''re porting SharpDevelop for a work-in-progress "native" IDE. Of course, if Mono doesn''t do what you need to do and/or you can''t find a working IDE you''re willing to learn, I suppose they''re not useful for that.
Can''t really give you much advice on using Mono (Python has served my needs for high-level work well enough), but if it''s actually a solution I''m sure you''ll know enough about what you''re doing to figure it out.
