Hello i have a sony vaio fr285e with inside a geforce4 go. The video card seems well configurated and driver fully functional but the opengl library don''t work. In particular when i try to run game it stop and in the log message are written the following matter: Initializing OpenGL subsystem ...initializing QGL ...calling LoadLibrary( ''C:\WINDOWS\System32\opengl32.dll'' ): succeeded ...setting mode 3: 640 480 FS ...using colorbits of 32 ...calling CDS: ok ...registered window class ...created window@0,0 (640x480) Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 32, 24, 8 ) ...50 PFDs found ...hardware acceleration found ...PIXELFORMAT 8 selected ...creating GL context: failed ...failed hard ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) ...shutting down QGL ...unloading OpenGL DLL ----- CL_Shutdown ----- RE_Shutdown( 1 ) Moreover i have succesfully compiled some opengl program in c++ but when i try to run them I obtain only a black windows. What is the problem? Anyone know where i can download an update version of the driver for the video card (In the nvidia site they are not available). Greetings from Enrico
