Legal issues of selling

Let''s say I complete a game and people are interested in it (it could happen!) Would there be any legal problems with simply selling it online? I''m not sure what the rules are in Canada about this kind of stuff, if I would have to officially register a business to sell software or it would just be considered another income source like a regular job? And would I have to include sales tax and how would I do that? I''ve been trying to find a good website to introduce this kind of stuff to me, but the search has been getting me kinda confused. Anyone know a good place to look?
If Canada has a business entity (or lack of entity) like the the sole-proprietorship here in the US, then getting started is pretty simple. You sell under your own name and report the income on your taxes like any other income.

I've written a book about this (see signature for link), and there is a lot of other information out there on the Web. A good place to start is:

The Indie Developers FAQ, on Dexterity.com.

EDIT: Talk to local businessmen you know about the specifics of Canada business law and procedures. That's the easiest way to get the information you need.
