Hello, I made a character but i want to give him many expression (sad,happy,furious...). To do this, the texture of my face must be in .gif animated. In milkshape 3d I can't open a gif for texture. I wonder if I can in opengl load a ms3d files and load in the same time a gif animated for the face's character. Example: my character give a kick and in the same time he is opening the mouth. My character's look like: www.multimania.com/ivanooze1212096/perso.html Thank you [edited by - Ivan Ooze on February 26, 2004 8:51:30 AM] [edited by - Ivan Ooze on February 26, 2004 2:16:28 PM]
I m a student and I like programming especialy in opengl and flash macromedia
I think changing the texture is not a good way to do that.
It would be much better if you''d do a 3D animation instead.
That would give you complete control over it, as well as a more realistic effect. If you use MS3D you should have no problems doing this.

Of course a 3d animation for face is better. But that ask many work and the size of ms3d file will be more heavy.
If I can''t load a gif for face, I would made many expression (in .jpg by example) on everypics and I will load the ones which is more appropriates.
it''s the only idea that I found.
