Looking for investor information for massively multiplayer games
Hello everyone,
I´m searching for information for investors about risks, cost, time and market for massively multiplayer game development.
If you have a link or a document about that can you point it to me? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Wow. That''s kinda broad, isn''t it?
Risks? Plenty.
Cost? How big is it going to be?
Time? How big is it going to be?
Market? How good is it and how different is it?
That''s like asking how much it costs to build a house. I could get you a cardboard box tomorrow for cheap or you could spend a few million dollars and wait a few years.

I have been following the development of Wish for some time now. They sought out and were able to find VC capitol to fund their game. You might try asking there. http://www.mutablerealms.com/
The market for these games is somewhat nebulous. Microsoft Games recently cancelled production on Mythica, an MMORPG that had been in development for over 2 years, sighting market conditions.
IMHO, there are just too many of them, now with very few standing out or offering anything unique.
