Does anyone know where I could find free tux or penguin sprites for a gpl linux game I am creating ?

This place is the origin of Tux, and I quote:

Please, someone correct me if I am wrong about the origin of it.

You can probably borrow the Tux sprites from XTux. There''s a couple of the other free software and open source mascots in there too.

You could try the sprites from Pingus.
