Well I absolutely hate the soundtrack in FinalFantasy11, so I wrote this tune as the first of many i plan to switch out from the origional soundtrack. This song is not based on any FF song, its my own style, not a remake or remix. Listen and tell me any/everything you like/hate about it! http://www.digitalneo.net/settle.mp3 [edited by - dreq on February 6, 2004 4:57:06 AM]

Hey, I like it! Perfect "town" music. Good job.

Well, I''m not sure what he''s referring to, but I think it''s good. It''ll sound really good as background music.

Oh... sorry...really didn''t mean to offend you
I meant that it was really great work but not my kind of music for a everyday party...

It would work great in a game but if someone asked me to listen to it in any other context I would go bananas ...

Very good. It changes in mood throughout, making it interesting which is good for ambient music, although not for plot support. In my opinion, this is near professional quality, both in composition and sound quality. What utility did you create it with? Is it live?

Sounds really really awsome. Just one piece of constructive critisism. With the mood swings in it, it could easily be chopped into multiple songs. Many of the pieces (individualy) are at great commercial quality, with the exception of maybe 30 seconds worth of track. Most noteably is the part from 2:35 to 3:05 which would make plane out awsome background "cavern" music. perhaps you could expand on this, and seperate it into two different songs.

EDIT: reminds me loosely of the soundtrack to Dark Cloud 2

I use Reason2 for my music, its a very nice tool. I wish i could do this for a living.. but.. I have no contacts and no way to do so, so I''m gonna be stuck doing assembly/c++ programming for a living (yawn)..

How''d you like how I hold B on a Cmaj chord with out it clashing :D

As for the many changes, its because music that loops gets REALLY old real quick if its the same thing over and over, so I purposly made it go through several "Themes".

Thanks for the comments guys
