I have Mandrake Linux 9.0 on my PC and have a little problem: mouse cursor doesn''t work. When Xserver starts, mouse cursor appears on the top-left of the screen and stays there. Mouse is definitely working, it is moving and I can click anything (if I can hit it without cursor), but the arrow is constantly on the same position. Does somebody know how to destroy this problem?
When I was younger, I used to solve problems with my AK-47. Times have changed. I must use something much more effective, killing, percise, pernicious, efficient, lethal and operative. C++ is my choice.
I once had the Problem myself (redhat 6.x iirc).

Maybe you could post your /etc/X11/XF86Config here..
