not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but here is goes: I am trying to install Microsoft visual C++ 6 and I can''t get it to auto run. I have had this problem before, but really don''t know how I fixed it. I can click on the setup.exe and it looks like it''s going to try and do something, but just quits. It seems like it won''t install unless it will auto run when I put the disk in??? Has anyone ever had this problem before?? I don''t have auto run turned off of anything like that, so I don''t know what else to do? Thanks for any help you may have.
All autorun does is run setup.exe, so autorun is not the problem. Have you got the latest windows service pack installed? If its not that then I can only think that you have a duff cd.
