Does your configuration supports Shpere Mapping? (I think it''s what the tutorial is about, right?)

I doubt it does, as is it quite old, now, but I might be mistaken.

I think it is my 3dfx driver which caused this problem.
Maybe I need either a new driver or new video card. I
really don''t like my video card( or its OpenGL driver ?)

The new 3dfx drivers supposively support environment mapping, if not try the Mesa 3d drivers.
