Does anyone know any plugins or softwares that has Guitar Overdrive effect features?

heh - yet another non-kvr-vst.com user.. check fx forum for old threads.. most of them aren''t officially listed.. you''ll find hundreds. personally i like destroyfx''s amp emu, but it''s hard on cpu.

dude get the new sonar it has a ton of built in effects even has amp simulations with alot of options an you can even here the amp sound while you play its just a few secs behind of what you play depending on the amount of effects you use

DSound once offered a free distortion plugin in both VST and DirectX formats called ''Distortion DT1-Free''. It''s not technically the same as an overdrive effect (which they sell) but it may be close enough, depending on what you need...

Sorry for hijacking. I have never been able to find a *good* overdrive/distortion effect. The best physical one I have is the BOSS Metal Zone MT-2 pedal (see pic), can anyone suggest a software effect similar to it?
