I wanted to share a couple sites I found if you're interested in models to use in your programs, and I don't mean Kathy Ireland . http://www.spacejetters.co.uk/html/3dmodels.html a list of several other sites http://www.amazing3d.com this one rocks - two pages of free samples with targa textures. I had to flip the targa files in Microsoft Picture It! Express to get them to import into Milkshape but they work and they look great. Anyone know of any other sites that have free simple models for download, especially Milkshape models? I couldn't find hardly any sites with Milkshape models other than the forum on their site. Now don't be afraid, I'm not planning to never learn how to draw models myself . But if someone else has already drawn something I could use, why not save the time? What's wrong with Kathy Ireland? I would personally recommend Heidi Klum, though

I don''t know if you count Anna Kournikova as a model or an athlete, but she''s world-class at either one.

Though I don''t think that Milkshape or Lightwave or StudioMax could do ANY of the 3 ladies justice .

We''d better be careful not to get too far off-topic or this thread will get moved to the lounge! Gosh darnit I hate it when I have to choose between the two types of models .

I''d recommend 3D cafe''s free 3d model library... probably one of the bigger ones.

Hey Rip,

3dcafe is cool if you''re into 3ds. I was hoping someone already had a milkshape library made up. I downloaded a ton of stuff from 3dcafe, some of their models come straight into Milkshape, some require a little tweaking (like the textures, and assigning them to groups), and some of them are just pure white.

But for users of Rhino or 3dsmax, 3dcafe rocks.
