Pricing my Game Correctly?

I plan to develop my own game.I want to know how to evaluate the price of my game before I go to publisher or distribute myself.Then again how do I determine its market price.

Shouldn''t be a very hard task, you only need to look sideways at your peers and see how much they price their game.
For example, most boxed AAA titles sell for 40$-50$, known shareware titles sell for 19.95$ etc.

I devoted a whole chapter to pricing in my book (see below for link). There is no simple answer. Like adiash said, you need to look at what other games are charging, especially games like yours. Also, it''s not like you pick a price once and live with it forever. You can (and should) perform testing at various price points to see which one works best.
