Really though, this is the best one I''ve found. Unless I have a really specific question, then I try to find the specific forum for that question. Otherwise this one does fine.

I hear the Gentoo forums are really nice. I have been on a few mailing lists for Debian, and while most people are nice and the number of different forums are quite comprehensive, Gentoo apparently has been stealing a lot of newbies away because people are less likely to say "RTFM, dumbass." Again, I haven''t really seen this on the Debian mailing lists but I am just repeating what I have been told.
Anyway, gentoo.org is where to go to find some good forums. I still like gamedev.net though B-)
