Does anyone know of any good music composition software for linux? I use lilypond for generating sheet music, but that can only produce MIDIs. What software should I use for more advanced sequencing (preferably something that should take full advantage of my SBLive''s synthesization features). I would like to create realistic music with different instruments, different volumes, drums, etc. I tried RoseGarden, but for some reason it didn''t produce any sound when I pressed play, though other sound seems to work on this system.
