Here. Has anyone got these drivers working? I''ve found several HOWTOs, but they''re all for infrastructure mode, and I need Ad-hoc mode. They seem to compile and insmod fine, but don''t connect to the two WinXP boxes on the network. any suggestions?
Try iwconfig -- I think you're looking for something along the lines of "iwconfig [device] mode ad-hoc" other useful options are things like "essid "[name]"" and "channel [channel number]" and the like. Also, don't forget to "ifconfig [device] up"

I''ve got it working now, thanks anyway...

I''d already got it set in ad-hoc mode, I think the problem was with SSIDs, and not being able to auto-detect them.

Just for information, setting the channel to anything other than 6 with the latest driver causes the kernel to hang; don''t bother trying it.
