Where to get some 3d models?

Hi Folks, where do i get some 3d models to download? A search on google mainly lists 3d file convert tools... I''m searching for objects to model an outdoor scene. (rocks, trees, houses). By the way, what fileformat would you use for static objects? Please let me know and thanks in advance.
