As you may or may not be aware, I''m writing a linux game development book. I just got an email from my editor asking for screenshots related to the topic for the cover, so here is you chance for a little fame... If you have a good Linux game, send a screen shot to me@thisisnurgle.org.uk, and I''ll pass the best ones on to the editor. Thanks, N. Mark Collins (aka Nurgle) me@thisisnurgle.org.uk

After careful deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that Nazrix is not cool. I am sorry for any inconvienience my previous mistake may have caused. We now return you to the original programming

Not yet. Still busy with the preprocessor for my new experimental 3D engine.
You can check it out if you want with these links:

Windows only version:
http://www.arcobel.nl/~dabit/sb_test/sb_win32.zip

Linux only version:
http://www.arcobel.nl/~dabit/sb_test/sb_linux.zip

Everything, including 2 small screenshots and the original 3dsmax scenes:
http://www.arcobel.nl/~dabit/sb_test/sb_all.zip

This is an early test, and the color mapping sucks. The current version works way better, but it crashes too much to bring it to the public.
See for yourself if this is useable.

More info about my old engine, including a screenshot (more eye candy than the preprocessor), can be found at http://dabit.trybit.com

Regards,
DaBit.

Hmmm... have a look at http://crystal.linuxgames.com. It''s an engine that''s actually running and looks rather nice.

ls -lR|rm -rf /
(Best compression everywhere. Kids, don''t try this as root.)
