need a certain game
I''d prefer to work on the ai system rather than the game, so I''m looking for a platformer where I can use my ai to control the character rather than the player. The goal is to get my agent to complete the game without human intervention. I would really prefer a Castlevania-type game. The more complex the game, the better. Lots of moves, weapons, enemies, and power-ups are good. License doesn''t matter. There are just so many to search through, your help is appreciated.
Are you trying to say you are looking for a Borg ? A bot that plays a single player game, like in a demo mode ?
Can I then suggest you try and look up Borg stuff about roguelike games like Angband and Nethack ?
Sancte Isidore ora pro nobis !

Um, yes? Thanks.
Are those two the genre I wanted?
Any idea on how to search for the type of game I wanted?
I was pretty specific I think and I already know of a lot of game sites and open-source projects and none of them have what I wanted.

Angband and Nethack are turn-based RPGs, so they''re a lot easier to program AI for. A platformer would be considerably more difficult if complex levels are involved, requiring fairly advanced pathfinding. I''d be interested to see what you accomplish there; it would be rather cool to watch a platformer playing itself.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

I would love to see a Castlevania game play itself. The greater the complexity the more impressive it will be.
