Michael Wallace is the winner Andreas "neoztar" Hammar was a close (very close) second place. Paul "Enigma" Kitchin finished a strong third place. This was the closest contest yet .. the decision came down to you guys. So if anyone disagree''s with any of the results please don''t bother Jeff with it because we left the decision to you all. And I am very happy with the results Huge thanks to everyone that entered,you guys all put alot of time and effort into your demo''s, and it showed. Woohoo! Just looked at the site and saw the results. Right now I'm feeling like bouncing around the room Thanks sooo much to everyone that voted Its the first time I've ever made a demo and I'm incredibly happy with the result! Andreas and Paul: I loved both of your demos. I really didn't expect to beat you guys. Such a close result is definitely a true reflection on the hight quality of the entries. Great work to everyone and thanks to NeHe for making the contest!

In the end I voted Andreas first and you second, but they were so close it took a long time to make that decision and either of you would have been worthy winners. Now I don''t suppose there''s any chance you don''t want that graphics card ?

Sorry Enigma, but I think I''ll take the graphics card Hopefully now I''ll be able to play Half Life 2 and Doom 3 (when they actually come out, that is). I checked out the specs on the Audigy 2 cards - very nice. I''m sure you''ll have lots of fun with yours
