Not sure, but sounds like you need your kernel''s source.

I already got the latest kernel source code for it....and again I still cannot install the damn thing....
:)
Have you checked your /var/log/XFree86.0.log (usually named this, should be something similar). Do a look and see if it provides any information why DRI is failing to load.

Int.
It is not fail to load but fail to install it.....
:)
Post up more of your error message from the installer script.

You need the source for the same kernel you have installed on your computer, configured and ready. Your distribution usually contains this in a package called kernel-source or something. Is this what you mean by "the latest source"? If not, do install the kernel-source package.

If it still won''t work, make sure your act kernel version is compatible with the criver you are trying to compile. This infomration should be in the driver''s documentation.

Can''t really be of any more help since you don''t mention what distribution you have or even what kernel you are using.
I''m using mandrake 9.1

Ok then. I assume you are using the stock kernel. In that case you should install the package kernel-source-2.4.21mdk.rpm from your installation CD. (I think that would be the name, unless i got the version number wrong in which case you install whatever version of that package is on the cds).
