In fact, I am not an artist like many of you think, but a programmer. The fact is that I have been working on a 3D car game. For that game I wrote a tool that helps me build the game''s cars from the picture of a real one.
That is the reason why I have asked that question.

How do you want to sell yourself to potential employers? As a 3D car game developper, or as someone who understands 2D and 3D well enough to write tools that (from your terse description) compete with high-end tools currently in the trade?
You see, showing your car game to a games company might get you to an interview; but show the tools to Softimage, Discreet, or Alias, and you might as well get the job!
