I'll announce updates to the arena executable with a thread like this from now on. The thread will be immediately closed, as well. It's just meant as a general announcement. Get it at http://www.gamedev.net/community/contest/gdarena/gdarena.zip. This update includes: * Object direction from GetObjectsInSight(...) now returns a +/- angle. A negative angle is to the left, and a positive angle is to the right. * Walls can now be seen. The referenced point is perpendicular to the bot's current position. This is still under test.. * Setting "debug" in the gdarena.ini configuration file now also disables the 1 second delay on taunts. Now whatever you print out with a taunt is displayed immediately. Taunts can also be up to 35 characters in length when in this mode. If you already have a bot started, make sure you copy the iCore.h file in the BotGen folder to your bot's folder.
