Hello everyone, I've created a Particle System for further use. One of its features is a Flame/Fire effect. Because I've got very different comments on it, I'd like to know what do you think about it? What would you add/change and stuff like that. Also notice that currently there is only one emitter so there is no smoke or things like that. not too bad. i like it. although to make a more realistic looking fire add some noise to the blending.

maybe try to spread out the fire more tho... have a random chance for particles to change vectors and fly 20% off the center line or something

200 particles sounds heavy, but acceptable.

It sounds heavy because
- less bigger particles = worse performance
- more smaller particles = better performance

Just testet it on my system and the fire is blazing like crazy at default speed, it waaay to fast even for a gas flame. prehaps you should key it to time or something...

Other than that it look real nice - but where is the smoke ?

AMD T-bred 1800+ @ 2gig on a asus a7v classic
