Worked! Thanks man Unfortunately it keeps freezing up with isenguard. I''ll see what i can do. You guys will have these models!

So many problems...There are so many vertices per group that i cant import the Helms Deep model into milkshape...will keep working with optimise.
Thanks a ton, eSCHEn ... the site looks great. That, along with llvllatrix''s links to the animated models will really help a lot.
My engine can load md3''s currently, so is there any way to turn a ghoul/ghoul2 model to an MD3?

PS : llvllatrix, you are having the problem with vertices probably because the BSP''ing split the polys like silly. If you have the textures along with the MAP, a better option would be to recreate it, that way the poly count will be a LOT lesser.

PPS : This thread is pretty cool for anyone wanting to enter this contest. Pity only a few people are on it.

Unfortunately i could not get the model into milkshape...just doesnt want to work - to many something or others...but i do have it in 3ds format for anyone who wants to try. Grab it from:

Hey, I don''t suppose anyone knows where I can find images of Isengard, Helms Deep or Mordor that I can work from? Like images of the towers, the battle etc.

Like, WOW. I am gonna bust my ass texturing Helm''s deep in MAX, but that 3DS is so rockin. llvllatrix, you are definitely on the credits for my demo.
