With the Character in the Scene i averaged 50 FPS without him, I averaged 90 FPS, quite Impressive on my old AMD 233, with RIVA TNT.

Quick Question: How long did it take you to code that demo?

-Cecil
Hi Cecil

Nice work, i am realy impressed with the lighting and clipping, just one odd thing, one wing of your level has messed up surfaces, they like move around and are fragmented looking. but all in all pretty good

Another question Bruno! ;-)

How did you manage to get your demo running on voodoo cards?
Did you use the opengl.c and the opengl.h from ... I don''t know where it was!? (My OpenGL progs won''t run at my friends Voodoo3!)

Gunhed

PS: Did you write your own Map-Editor???

bye
Looks great!!
It swings from about 80 to about 130 FPS on my computer - 600 MHz Pentium III Dell Dimension XPS T600.
I managed to walk backwards through a wall, but I can''t get it to happen again. I probably went through a corner or something.

Just a tip for the menus: have a waiting counter start after you press a button so the FPS and music don''t toggle each frame while a key''s down.

I use opengl from microsoft, opegl32.dll, it works fine on my voodo2.
Yes the editor was made by me

Very very nice!
I''m away from my decent machine (ie. at work) but the framerate was certainly very acceptable on my Voodoo 3, although as mentioned above it did slow down why the monster was in view.

-One thing though: the water on the floor stops flowing when you move - (ie. becomes a static texture). Of course if you moved at the same rate as it, you would expect it to stop, but it occurs in all directions. For all i know it might be impossible to get it to move when you are moving (!) but i thought i''d mention it.

Keep up the good work.!
Well Now,

Not a bad litle game, not bad at all. I really
do think your going to become a big developer.
It runs fine on my P.C. I have a Celeron 500
65MB Ram, and A 4Mb Video Card. Hey I know
the Video card seems naf but it runs Quake
3 at 80 Fps. It;s incredible I know.

STVOY

Mega Moh Mine!!
It runs around 100fps most of the time on my computer, but ranges from 80 to 140fps at times. My system is a Celeron 300a overclocked to 450, 128MB SDRAM, ATI Rage Fury. I''ll tell you how it runs once I get my AMD Duron in a couple days. Nice demo. Keep up the good work. You''ve just inspired me. I need to get off my ass and learn some 3D.

Later,
