I am working your lessons with MS Visual Studio 6.0 and I have a background in C++ 3 Terms worth from International Academy Of Design and Technology, so I believe i have a good foundation to tackle these studies with. First off let me compliment you on the detail of your comments in the studies, they helped alot as i am new to OpenGL. The code COMPILED, and BUILT just fine but when I go to execute, I get my error dialog that the window cannot be created. This happens whether I choose fullscreen or windows. Also whether I run from the Executable that was created, or from within Visual Studio''s Compiler. I tested this on a couple machines. the first being a Dell Laptop with a 16MB Go Nividia onboard video. and the other a custom P4 1.8 with a 128MB DDR SiS 8x AGP Card
I think you better post the code ... otherwise it will be very difficult to guess. Try to compare your code with the NeHe''s. You might see some interesting mistakes

I can survive anything ... even NUKES!!!

Well I might want to try compairing the code myself first then, that would be a lot of lines of code to post.
