Audio editing in linux?

Are there any programs out for linux simular to Sound Forge and Vegas?
"... And what really sickens me? :-) well a company I contacted informed me that they had an audio developer.. they have bio on their website, he graduated in marketing and was the lead programmer, audio really is the side job."

Ardour, a free Pro-Tools alike.
Audacity, a rather good, but light on the features at the moment, wave editor.

Nice, Maybe someday we will have professional Audio/Video/Graphics and 3D Animation/rendering software on linux that matches or exceeds our windows and mac toys
