Terrain engine Skydome??

At the moment working I am working on my Two Towers Demo an I am writing a new terrain engine. I have seen people using a "Skydome" for the sky . Does anyone know a tutorial for using this . Or could you tell me how to code it. Or even better has anyone got it in C/C++ thats easy to understand. Thanks

Just use a skybox, a big cube, (flipped inside out) and always keep its center in the same position as the ''camera'' Et voila
