Linux - why should I bother?

Windows NT/2000/XP: For asynchronous read operations, hFile can be any handle opened with the FILE_FLAG_OVERLAPPED flag by the CreateFile function, or a socket handle returned by the socket or accept function.
It may be worthwhile learning your way around Linux for a job later in life. Many jobs require some Linux development as well as Windows, if for nothing else, there''s a reason.
If what you want is just a windows clone, stay with the original. Linux is different. Try Linux if your''re curious enough and brave enough to explore new areas.
When i started using Linux i used to dislike it, comparing it with windows etc etc... i wanted a windows clone. But the curiosity in me was stronger, and after some time i started to like it. Now i love Linux.
