If you like your games fast...
I got up this morning and decided to play Unreal Tournament 2K3 online while listening to the matrix reloaded intro theme. After a few hours of playing i eventually got pissed at the lag caused by replaying the music. So a few hours later and i've finished programming my own light MP3 player. It uses fmod and is DOS based. Frankly i dont see the point of visualizations in an MP3 Player.
Anyway for those of you who like their games fast and their music faster heres the download:

The readme should describe how to use it. Heres hoping for no bugs. Tell me what you think.

Is it just me or does it have more overhead? For some reason it stops responding but you can still use it. Wierd...I think i should reprogram it for Win32 and not console. Might solve the problem.
Hey, it''s not that I want to be an asshole, but you''re kindda re-inventing the wheel. Ever heared of MPG123? Anyway, just useing the console won''t give you a performance-boost, since the console itself is a windows-program. Instead, optimizing the MP3-decoding process and not useing any animations could give you a performance boost.
Newbie programmers think programming is hard.Amature programmers think programming is easy.Professional programmers know programming is hard.
