Blender apears to be a fairly extencive program. Its free so its got that going for it. I''d like to get a handle on it but the damn thing just seams so wacky to use. There doen''t seem to be an natural way of doing anything. I''ve been all over the place looking for how to use the program but everything asumes you know something . The Docs I downloaded say "to be writen" for most of the topics. Texturing thing is realy sending me on dizzy trip. I don''t get the logic at all. I end up with suff I don''t want on objects that were suposed to have something eles. I try to make a new texture and I end up with the old one being like the new one. I have a 3D studio Max trial I used up. It was very nice. There was logic there. Easy to use. I guess I''m just wondering it you realy take the time to figure it out is it worth it? I''m not makeing CG movies just might want to make some game graphics for Projects I never finnish or layout desines for my artwork. Waste of time Yes/No

try elysiun for some good forums and resources on how to use.

you could also order the manual, it''s very helpful.

Yeah I know what youre going through but trust me its worth it. I find it hard to try to learn other programs now that I know Blender. Look for a tutorial for modeling a castle in Blender, it should be on the old blender site. It goes through every key you''ll use and gives you an idea of how to use them in your own projects. It seems wacky now but it''ll get very smooth to use.
Alright. Now if I can just log off long enough to actualy acomplish anything.
