Avatar God: Cheers for the reply, i hear what your saying about the iframe box being too plain, and i think now i will put some kind of tiling image in the background. Again with the nav bars you touched on a point ive heard a lot maybe i will look at these in the near future. And the lonely home button heh i think i will bring this up to the other bar. All in all some good points. Just gotta find time and motivation to knuckle down :-)

Okay ive added an image to the back of the iframe boxes, have figured out what i can do with my Navigation buttons, still need to implement it.

But before i do that i wonder if anyone can help me out with my gallery &#106avascript. I want to be able to really add a line or two of text under or above each of the pictures. <br><br>give us a shout if you think you can offer some practical help would be well appreciated!

I like the design overall... the main problem I have with it is that in high screen resolutions, the actual content doesn''t take up much space - the whole layout and text area only fills about half of the width of my screen. I think if you made some changes so that the actual text and content part fills as much space as there is available, it''ll be much nicer.
NIce colours, pictures and easy to get around.

Although:

Home button - why is this not near the other buttons?

Content - whilst the logo graphics and menu is nice, they aren''t why people will visit your site. The content box is tiny! Why? That''s what I''m there to see!!
Pychor:Thanks for the reply. What you gotta remember is a massive amount of people still run in 800 x 600, even if most people who come to gamedev view in highter than that.(i actually did a poll a while ago about what resolutions people view in so i know what im talking about:-)) my site is designed to just about fit that with some spacer images to stretch it out when its viewed in a higher res.

it was one of those choices that you gotta make when you start your site out, what res is it gonna be optimised for. so i gotta stick to my guns now.

You didnt say what res your running but i guess it must be like 1280 x 960 or something.
