Dark, what "STFW" means? I''m familiar with stfu but this....
i would like to know too...

and anyway...if i didn''t either know the existence of the octrees how could i search the forum or google?

Bad Monkey is right. Just create VA for each shader/material used in each node. Since this list will be quite small you can even run some post-T&L cache optimization on individual parts.

Thank you very, very much!

I have already created an octree class for a long time ago, but I wasn''t sure how to do it for different materials and all that... I tried many approaches... I tried to create a mesh class, and attach meshes to the octree, but that worked very bad... And I trashed it all after that...

Now I know how to do it, thanks!

Of course the forum isn''t useless... If you have trouble implementing something, then google most likely, will not be able to look at your code and correct it, for example...
