WIP - cell pilot - *56k warning*

this is for a school project. its going to be a short 3d animation. i have never done one before, and being in the game art program i wont really get that many chances to play in the animation field - any advice would be greatfully appreciated. i am really proud of this one, its the best 3d model i have done thank in advance! student, art institute of phoenix game art and design

VERY NICE! And hey, sounds like we are in the same boat... working on an animation myself for a school project...

But the head looks excellent, but correct me if I''m wrong, it may just be my 3d package - but using both triangles and poly''s in the head (particularly only the forehead) may give you some problems if you plan on texturing the head.

And, if you look carefully, you can see the seam on the head (there''s a little nip) Its really minor, but the head is almost perfect, I''d hate to see such a minor detail go overlooked

i didnt know mixing triangles and polys was a bad thing, ill look into that thanks - i am using 3d max.

i am going to push his nostrils back.
