Hi, there my name is Ben. I am a professionally trained sound technician and am also a highly (Ok maybe not quite profesional :-) skilled assembly programmer. I''m just wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing a CD of high quality custom sounds created by me for games. It seems a lot of people end up taking a few freebies off the internet, which doesn''t quite cut it. If your interested I could put together a nice quality set of sounds for use in you games and other multimedia projects. Most likely sounds to do with games (Explosions, bangs, breaking glass, walking, etc.. as well as some beeps and tweeps for menu''s and stuff) The CD would cost $25 CAN funds (You Americans could take advantage of this!) I may reply to it tommorow to put it up on the list as not many people will be up at this hour. Oh yah, I''d give out a few freebies first so you could see how you like my work! Anybody interested? See ya, Ben

Yeah, I might be interested. In terms of game development, I can do graphics, music and programming, but I''ve never understood how to make great sounds... although I don''t know about the cost. How are you expecting to get the money...? Could you email me here please? Thanks. (E-mail had better not be broken again...)

I think that would be very cool. I agree it is hard to find good free sound effects, and sound is as big a part of creating a convincing game world. You know what would be just as cool though, doing a tutorial on the process you go through to create a new sound. Hey, it might take away a little bit of business, but it would gain you adoration and respect among other devers.
