Hey Everybody! This is WAY off topic, even for the Lounge, but I''ll fire away anyway: What do all of you think about Slipknot and their CD (For those of you not in the know, Slipknot is a band)? I''m thinking about getting their CD, but there''s some other CD''s I want too. I CAN''T DECIDE! Just drop a line about Slipknot, I''ll be happy.

If you're gonna buy the CD, you might as well just use napster

Actually, if he is going to buy the CD, he should buy the CD. Using Napster takes money away from the bands, and is just like warez. You wouldn''t condone warez would you nes?

Well, I already have Napster, but I own everything I download (like all of us, right ). No, I wanna get the CD because I don''t have a burner. It''s not that I have a conscience, I''m way past that stage with Napster. And does anybody have any opinions about Slipknot''s MUSIC? Any other CD''s people would recommend. Just for your info, I''m into Alt. Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, and my homeboys DMX and Eminem (White guy in the hood, oh yeah!). So, if ya know any CDs I should think about, drop me a line. Oh yeah, I also like Christian rock stuff so long as its not crap (like 95% of the genre) Thanx.

Well, I kind of listen to slipknot, but not enough to give you an opinion.

Doesn''t mp3.com or cdnow.com have some samplings for you to listen to?

Slipknot''s pretty good, but I personally think that most of their music doesn''t live up to their best songs, so I don''t think the CD is a great buy. Just an opinion. Anyway, as far as heavy stuff is concerned, my favorite band to listen to is Fear Factory. Static-X is also very good; if you ask me, better than Slipknot, but not as good as FF. ^_^
