Has anyone been able to successfully use SPDIF output in Linux? My sound card supports it in Windows, just wondering if its possible to do it in Linux.

which soundcard?
find / -name "your base" -exec chown -R us:us {} ;

Creative Labs CT5880, uses the es1371 module for sound. Also this is Redhat 9.0 I''m trying to configure it on.
