Texture Mapping

Well, I''m not exactly sure what I''m doing (being a C++ Newbie and all) but, when I try to compile and run the first texture mapping tutorial it doesn''t work. :\ It compiles fine, but when it goes to start up, it gives me a "Application cannot be started", I don''t know why. :\ I dunno if it''s an error in my source or a queer hardware error. I have a Voodoo3 PCI running on a AMD K6/2 500mhz CPU (only two things I can think of that''d cause any kind of hardware errors :\) I know the Voodoo3 has shitty OpenGL support, so I just blamed it on that, but eh.. I''ve played OpenGL games so it has to work, so before I throw a fit.. and give up on C++ all together :\ Can someone explain to me why this would happen (and how exactly would I correct it). thanks - John
