Is there a file converter which can import an .iff file (the Sims file format for objects) and export a .x or .3ds file format? thanks in advance

If you''re talking about IFF graphics format, which is also known as iLBM format (originally from Deluxe Paint on the Amiga), then any good graphics editor will be able to load it and save it as another format.

If you''re talking about a more complex format invented by the coders of The Sims, I doubt you''ll find any information about the format.
