does anyone know how a composer would go about writing music for the gameboy advanced? ... is there a program you can buy or what? ... thanks in advanced!
Hi!
We have done several titles for the gameboy advanced (demon hunter, ultimate brain games, muppet pinball etc.)

If you would like to compose for this platform you have to license a programm. In the past we used the Musyx (from Factor5). At the moment we are developing an own (and much faster)editor called Sonic.

I am most definitely not clued up on this. But if you stick to 4 note polyphony MODs, keep sample sizes TOIGHT - LIKE A TIGER, and let your programmer work out the problems of implementation, then you are all set
Thanks a lot for your help! I was hoping there would be something I could dabble with without having to license anything... oh well... and yeah, MODs, heh, that takes me back... that was one of the first two formats I started with (the other being MIDI without wave tables.. yuck)... thanks again!
