Power C ?

In addition to VC++ 6.0 I also have some software called Power C..(yet to use this..) I also have Python 2.2 (but yet to sue this either) a friend recomended that I learn Power C 1st and then try VC++...culd some1 tell me wot is Power C and wot it does...? and if it is any good leading upto VC++. Futhermore I intend to design a chess program in VC++ is this also possible in Power C ?. suggestions & comments are very welcome..... p.s. I will be updating my website soon.( http:\\www.sean3.2ya.com ).includes chess stuff ....chess source code...ebooks on C++..chess...etc..
Why don''t you just do a search on google? The first result it yields describes Power C as a tiny C compiler that can run on DOS 2.0

Short answer: stick with Visual C++ if you are using windows.
