I wish people posted their music more often!

This forum is great for informational purposes and "technicalities" of music; however, actual audio postings and examples are unfortunately a rarity. Everyone seems pretty intelligent here and it would be nice to hear some "real world examples" of creative output. Thanks
Here ya go: http://aisle4.com/music.php

I''m not an accomplished composer, but I toy with it when inspiration strikes. I don''t check in here too often because I''m happy with my music rig so I''ve lost interest in the technical/gear side of things. I''ll be back to see if anybody else has posted some music, though.

Ok, here`s one from my tracks. It`s just another orchestral piece. Done with the Emu Virtuoso 2000.

A recently-finished song -- piano, harp, bass, and a nice choir voice courtesy of thesoundsite.net

Diragor, I love the strings in Mellow Rhodes! Can you describe what software/effects you used to get that sound?

NiteCaller, I like how your brass at 1:20 moves side to side.

xoxos, the duet in dawn just makes me laugh, but it's great. I also liked buttercup, chablis, and the bay... any chance I could get higher-bitrate mp3's of these?

(Update: song originally posted as a "work in progress"; it is now finished)

eric, most of the time it''s about a technique or idea and the rest gets banged together, so you''re not missing anything subtle. if you want, i guess. ''the bay'' has these two 4 bar guitar sequences.. the ''solo'' at the end is punching both of those sequences playing looped in and out.. some bits work, some didn''t

diragor - one dynamic i missed was ''ghost'' hits/notes, ie. inaudible snare hits that just add to the feel. a little more voicing, ie. had sample variations, imho, not that your music isn''t great or anything.

nitecaller - great structuring, some of the strings are a bit stiff, tho

i go more for synth modeling on acoustic sounds than samples, which can make for a lot to do, layering voices, programming playing variation, isn''t resource-friendly, but is interesting

I''ll just add mine to the mix. My sample page is at http://hjem.get2net.dk/z/music/

Orchestral only since that is what I''m most often asked to do for games

I do VG music if the right project comes along. Right now I''m working on an album. It''s very epic, film score like, on the border of new age and ambient electronica.
