I noticed that with vc++ compiled programs i get an exe size which is a lot bigger than the one in the tutorials. what could I do fo making them smaller?

Different compilers/optimisers would surely give different results, that is different exe files... i don''t know much about how it works, and it''d be good if someone did explain it!

Make sure your compiler is compiling in release mode, and not debug.
