SCHOOL
Hello, i am new here, hence explaining why i am in this forum. Anyways, i am currently finishing my 11th grade in High school, and i would like to know a couple of things because ive been playing games all of my life and would like to be part of a game developper team. Question 1: What would the job be called of the person making the 3D modeles, props, textures, and what not. And 2: What studies should i take so that i am able to join a developpement making 3D modeles and stuff team? There is a school in B.C Burnaby called "Ai" and is supposed to be one of the best, but does it have the courses or programs that would proove to the employer that i am able to acomplish the task at hand. Thank you for you''re time.

lol...Im finding the advice to those wanting to be game developers funnier and funnier. Ive heard get a shotgun and get the waiting list of those applying and now a cult. I''m waiting to see an article in the paper about game developers being assasinated.
1. Graphics Design, companies like EA always have want ads for Character Modelers and such.
2. Anything that has to do with drawing and using computers for drawing. Basic & advanced hand drawn art classes, all the way to digital animation classes using programs like 3DMax.
3. I like in BC also but have never heard of "Ai", but then again I never really new much about art related schools (I''m going to BCIT). I heard and read that Emily Carr (probibly spelt wrong) is good, best thing to do is ask around, talk to people in the job field you are interested, and possible ask employers what schools that view as best.
