DirectDraw Stuttering
In my DirectDraw app about one second anything moving has a little stutter and then continues along. This delay is very small but noticable. I''m not going to post any code since I have no idea what might cause this but I was wondering if this is a general DirectDraw issue or a common programming mistake. I know that without code this might be hard to debug but has anyone else had similar problems and found a solution?

I have a similar thing happening with OpenGL since I moved to XP. I don't know if it has to do with the operating system, the combination of tick time with the refresh rate on the monitor, or the video drivers. I had someone else try out the demo and he said it ran smooth with no hiccups.
So I guess try changing the monitor refresh rate to something higher for starters.

do you mean when you first start it that there''s a second where it''s kinda choppy then it moves like it should? or you mean it does it every so often when it''s running?
