well well let''s make itshort. I am a college/univ combination (5 years program) computer sciuence student.. im at 1st college year but i hd some programming background. I want to know about the usefulnes of actual "game programming" education to get in the industry. Isn''t a B.Sc. sufficient? C 6/10 Java 4/10 C++ 4/10 (strictly for classes and other extension stuff... cout isnt that hard to understand) I want to focus on C/C++ as well as a bit of prolog as a hobby. If anyone could give me any advice to improve my chances of getting in the industry... id be pleased to hear. (Sorry, my english isnt quite up to par)
Hi
You should also learn assembly and master an API like OpenGL or DirectX.
You probably don''t need any special "game programming" education.
