I am an experienced coder who just acquired a Mac. I can use the OS (OS X), but am by no means experienced in Mac programming, specifically. I have been learning to write Mac programs, and it''s not so different from windows apps, but I haven''t found a lot on games, just some general openGL stuff. I am new to the apple, but love it. So, being a coder, I naturally want to develop software for it. Given my predisposition to gaming and general goofing-off, I would like to program Mac games. So, does anyone have any pointers or advice on Mac-specific game programming? gatekeeper_prod www.gatekeeperproductions.com

I''m not a mac expert either but you may give a look to the SDL Library. It''s a DirectX-like cross platform API available on Windows / MacOS / Linux.

There is a "Mac Game Programming" book out that covers OS X. It''s by Mark Szymczyk (ISBN 1-931841-18-7)

If you take a look at www.apple.com/developers, you might find some useful tutorials etc even on game programming
Well, thanks for the info. I''ll check that stuff out.
