can someone please give me more info on multiplying a vector by a quaternion w/o converting the quat to a matrix first. i used an equation given by one of the replies to my previous posts and got the same results. plus i did the equation with a normalized quaternion and it was the same as i was doing before getting this persons advice (i thought the inverse of quaternion [s,v]=[s,-v]). please help.
